WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Systems Support Engineer, you’ll support all of our teams as we work to put a smile on the faces of millions of customers. You will play a critical role in ensuring IT systems’ smooth operation and efficiency. The position will involve providing technical support, maintaining system infrastructure, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and support our key functions.

THE ROLE IN BRIEF
System Maintenance:
-Perform routine maintenance on servers, workstations, and network equipment.
-Install and configure new hardware and software.
-Update and patch systems to address security vulnerabilities.
-Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Technical Support:
-Provide technical assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting software problems, hardware failures, and network connectivity issues.
-Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.

Business Systems Support:
-Support business applications such as OMS and CRM systems.
-Assist in the implementation and maintenance of new business systems.

Data Management:
-Assist in data backup, recovery, and migration processes.
-Ensure data integrity and security.

Network Administration:
-Manage and maintain the local area network.
-Configure network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Security:
-Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
-Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
-Respond to security incidents and breaches.
-Collaboration:
Work closely with the rest of the rest of the team.

ARE YOU OUR DREAM CANDIDATE?
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-1-2 years of experience in system support or a similar role.
-Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
-Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
-Knowledge of server hardware and virtualization technologies.
-Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, SQL Server).
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is preferred.
-Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or related certifications will be an added advantage
