WHAT YOU’LL DO

The ideal Marketing Officer is a highly skilled and strategic professional who possesses a combination of creativity, analytical thinking, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of marketing principles. They are self-motivated and keen to learn on the job. They enjoy taking on a variety of tasks from developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to handle consumer research. They conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and extract valuable insights that improve customer satisfaction.

 

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

  1. Content Creation
  • Attend brainstorm sessions and contribute innovative content ideas to support marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute engaging content.
  1. Photoshoot Logistics
  • Maintain the photo studio, ensuring it is clean and orderly.
  • Request necessary products from production for photoshoots, coordinating delivery and checking the quality.
  • Source and prepare models according to the shooting brief.
  • Design and arrange photo sets to match the creative vision.
  1. SMS Campaigns
  • Send personalized SMS messages weekly to maintain customer relationships.
  1. Guided Website management and SEO
  • Work with Manager to make regular updates to the website and monitor Analytics
  1. Research (As Needed)
  • Design and execute research studies to gather insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Collect data using various methodologies and tools, and analyze the data to provide actionable insights.
  1. Community Management (When needed)
  • Respond to comments on advertisements and timeline posts across social media platforms.
  • Raise support tickets for complaints using Freshdesk.
  • Manage the marketing inbox (marketing@moko) and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  • Respond to reviews on Google and Facebook, engaging with our community positively and proactively.

  • Analytical ability to provide feedback on the format of the survey to ensure we have the right framing of questions
  • Clear communication to brief the interview participants and to ensure they attend the interviews at the correct time
  • An enthusiastic individual with outstanding problem-solving skills to enhance our customer experience 
  • Strong analytical skills—ability to analyze data and proactively present recommendations in a clear and concise manner that enables decision-makers to understand and act upon the insights.
  • An initiative taker who enjoys working independently once you receive clear directions from the manager
  • Eager to join a young, quickly-growing organization and team
  • Previous marketing experience is a plus.
